The turn based campaign is nice because you aren't rushed to micromanage a million things at once but takes forever in the beginning because of all the individual countries taking their turns managing some of the 60 territories the game has to offer. I might have wanted to play as another country-empire but all others remain neutral and conquerable. I was saddened by the lack of a complete world map or something a little larger than europe and the fact in campaign I couldn't play as anything other than the 5 empires British, French, Austrian, Russian and Prussian. Even on the lowest graphic settings the environment, great and the lovely state of the models take nothing away from the overall gameplay. The unit models are very nice looking, especially on the ships when commanding a naval engagement. Overall the game is looking good, I love the RISK like simplicity of the campaign map and the dramatic entrance to each battle that gives you a feeling of "the calm before the battle". It comes complete with skirmish battles, Historical battles and Campaign where you strive for empire points over a specific time or total Europe and Western russian domination.

I decided to buy this game after research of its modest computing requirements and because other reviews linked it to another game Empire-Total War which my computer outright laughed at the fact I put it in and tried to install it.
